    What Is Worship?

Worship, it’s more than just a song. Worship is a heart posture aligned with God, exalting him in everything we do and say. Worship is lived out in our daily lives from doing dishes, to going to work, to changing diapers and so on. Our lives are worship when it is all done for the Glory of God.

As a church body we lift up praises to God with our songs and instruments. We do this because he is WORTHY of it ALL! There is power when we sing songs of praise. It is a powerful weapon against the enemy and will break down walls, break off chains and set people free! (Acts 16:25-26)

Worshiping in song is a gift to the father and the way we honor HIM and lift him up. It is a way we can connect with the father’s heart.

    Worship Style

Our Worship style here at ACTS is a bit of contemporary mixed with traditional hymns and our own original songs. Our worship team uses various instruments and invites the congregation to engage in praise and worship by sharing prophetic words, biblical declarations and prayer during the worship service.

Our heart as a worship team is to see the Lord God praised and exalted for who He is and to lead the congregation into His presence to experience His unending love, forgiveness and freedom.

PSALM 150: 1 Praise the Lord! Praise God in his sanctuary; praise him in his mighty heavens! 2 Praise him for his mighty deeds; praise him according to his excellent greatness! 3 Praise him with trumpet sound; praise him with lute and harp! 4 Praise him with tambourine and dance; praise him with strings and pipe! 5 Praise him with sounding cymbals; praise him with loud clashing cymbals! 6 Let everything that has breath praise the Lord! Praise the Lord!
