    YOUTH GROUP NIGHTS:

    • Wed, Feb 12-ACTS Wheatland, 6:30-8:30pm
    • Wed, Feb 19-ACTS Wheatland, 6:30-8:30pm
    • Wed, Feb 26-NO YOUTH GROUP
    • Thurs, Feb 27- Blessings of Hope Volunteer Night - Shift is from 6:30-9pm. Address: 500 Becker Rd, Leola, PA 17540. Ages: 10 and up. Each person receives a voucher. This is our service project for 30 Hr Famine. 

      To participate you must:
      1.       Resister with Blessings of Hope if you have not on their Rosterfy link: https://blessingsofhope.rosterfy.com/register . 1 account needed per household.
      2.       Sign up on our Google Doc Sign up. You must sign up by Sun, Feb 16. After that date, it will be opened up to the public.

    • Wed, Mar 5—NO Youth Group—30 Hr Famine
    • Fri, Mar 7—Optional Fun Night/Sleepover before 30 Hr Famine
    • Sat, Mar 8—30 Hour Famine!—9am-6pm. More details to come.

     

    SR HIGH YOUTH EVENTS:


    30 Hr Famine is when the youth and leaders fast for 30 hours and fundraise ahead of time for World Vision for those in deepest poverty. At the event, we play Games to simulate poverty and experiential learning, along with fasting, watching videos, worship and pray together, a service project, and conclude with a final meal together. This is a great event to put our faith into action!

    Fri, Mar 7—Optional Fun Night/Sleepover. We plan to hang out at the Living Hope Community Church gym from 8-10pm. Youth can be picked up at 10pm and sleep at home if you prefer.
    Sat, Mar 8—30 Hour Famine Events—9am-6pm
    To begin your fast: Please eat lunch (whenever that is) and then don’t eat after that until we eat together on Sat evening.

    This is our head count for our meal Sat night. By signing up, you also make sure you get food at the end.

    Fundraising

    It is expected that we fundraise as a group. You can collect donations and give people a link to your own donation page online after you sign up.
    If you raise $120, you get a t-shirt. There are other prizes and levels as well.

    YOUTH SUMMER MISSION TRIP

    Jun 15-20, 2025 (save the date!)
    Mission experiences each day in Harrisburg and the surrounding area.
    Stay at Camp Hebron and do camp things in the evening—swimming, ropes, games, etc.
    Cost: Around $400 (still finalizing transportation)
